PRISON IN ALABAMA
ALABAMA DEATHS
Helping Dying Prisoners Has Taught Me to Be More Compassionate
I had a family member who endured an agonizing time in Coffee County Jail. He is not the only man that suffered as he watched his friend die and get dragged out in a body bag.
His friend died from a fentanyl overdose and because my cousin mentioned the death outside of the Coffee County Jail, he was punished and placed in lockdown in a 10x10 cell with four other beds. He was made to sleep on the floor until they transferred him to a prison.

POWER TRIP
When a prison nurse is "on a power trip," it means they are abusing their position of authority by excessively exerting control over inmates, often through unnecessary harshness, intimidation, or humiliation, displaying a clear desire to dominate and feel powerful over those they are supposed to supervise.

The nurse, seemed to dislike my cousin (ODD) after he just witnessed a cellmate flushing drugs after another inmate just died. "Sure it would have nothing to do with that." The nurse is the one who placed my cousin in lockdown, making him sleep on the floor to punish him.
LIED TO GENERAL ATTORNEY.
I wrote a letter to the AG of Alabama and he responded; "He said he spoke with Scott Byrd the Sherriff of Coffee County and assured me my cousin was not in lockdown due to medical and I could call him to discuss."

WOW! Really, I have Scott's cell number and did speak with him. I actually took the article down until I realized Scott was not honest with the General Attorney.
