Imagine having a medical condition and needing a special pair of footwear. The nurse tells you, "If you ask again, you will be placed in solitary!"

Don't dare ask for medical attention in your local jails because you may face lockdown for eight or ten days. The local nurse in the Coffee county jail had a new inmate with real medical issues then he witnessed the death of another inmate. When he asked for his slides which where for the pain in his feet he was placed in lockdown.

Hardly anybody besides their friends and families cares what happens to the people who live behind prison walls. That’s how those who run our correction institutions get away with appalling brutality, word of which almost never sees the light of day.
